Those thoughtful and genteel truth-seekers over at Fox News are at it again.
Never a bunch to let facts get in the way of screeds, the Fox gang picks up the smallest threats of a story and tries to weave them into a huge national or international crime.
The latest example seems particularly excessive and, well, dumb. As Jeffery Goldberg has outlined at TheAtlantic.com, innocuous comments on a sketchy British call-in show can be the basis of a smear, especially if the subject of the smear is Muslim.
